Hey Jared. A friend of mine had suggested doing high knees between each exercise, particularly during the first sets of punches and upper body stuff. It will help keep the heart pumping and get a little more cardio into the workout.

Legs and Back is definitely one of my least favorite. And unfortunately the way my workouts fall, I end up having to do it on a Friday night. When I start a second round of this, I'm going to make sure my rest day falls on Friday.

Hi Jared. Thanks for your note on my blog. I've been following your daily. I have it load into my Google Reader so I see all your latest posts. I'm glad and honored that you find my posts motivating. Reading yours as well as others has definitely keeped me plugging away. The remarkable thing that struck me today is not only have I been doing this for 70 days, I haven't missed a workout yet(knock on wood). Trust me, I definitely wanted to skip a few! But then I go and read about crazy people getting up at 4 in the morning to do theirs and other strange circumstances and it kind of gets my butt in gear to stick the DVD in. Keep up the good work! Sounds like your doing great and starting to get into the groove. Keep in touch!

It could have been serious! Road mishaps have become so common now a days. Roads and traffic conditions in some areas are really not suitable for biking at all and that has prompted me to leave my bike and travel by ferries to work. ferry travels are much safer, atleast risk of rush driving and accidents can be averted.

Really it's just a matter of bad luck,.In my area, I know it's a combination of things, including roads that weren't designed for anything but four-wheel traffic and drivers who barely know or practice good driving techniques relative to cars and trucks much less bikes. It's a problem. So much so that I've even found myself uncharacteristically debating whether I should even risk being out on the roads at all. Still haven't made up my mind even while I, like all of us, risk life and limb.

-----------
kimrennin

ferry to france

Awesome! Way to go Jared! Now you can prepare for the Godfrey's Grannies Walk for MS next April... we need someone to inspire and motivate us! Hope you are recovering and feel proud of yourself (for a chunky guy!)
Marilyn
